Why host in Toronto
Toronto is Canada’s largest internet hub, home to the Toronto Internet Exchange (TorIX). A server here is close to most of Canada’s population and to the big cities of the US Northeast, from New York to Chicago.
Canadian data residency
Many Canadian companies, schools and public organisations prefer or require data to stay in Canada. Personal information in the private sector is covered by PIPEDA, and some provinces have their own laws. A server in Toronto keeps your data on Canadian soil.
